The European Leadership Network (ELNET) brings together leaders who believe in the importance of close relations between Europe and Israel, based on shared democratic values and common interests.
ELNET provides unique opportunities for mutual dialogue and encourages exchanges among policymakers from different political backgrounds. We facilitate in-depth policy discussions on key strategic issues and host high-level delegations to experience the realities on the ground.
Friends of ELNET Midwest Region Director
Friends of ELNET is looking for a senior fundraising professional to serve as Midwest Region Director, based in Skokie, Illinois. Candidate should have minimum 10 years’ experience with high-level fundraising in the Midwest. Focus will be on cultivation of new major donors, as well as donor stewardship.
Excellent interpersonal skills, and proven track record of follow-through are a must.
We are looking to increase our visibility, as well as significantly increase our existing base in the region.
Ideal candidate is a creative and thoughtful team player with ability to work across varying cultures and personalities.
Position reports to National Executive Director. Salary starting at $120,000 - COE

General Qualifications:
Basic knowledge of the Jewish communal world, particularly Israel advocacy
Mature understanding of the Middle East conflict, particularly regarding Israel’s security, as well as knowledge of Israeli and Jewish culture
7+ years of experience in donor relations, fundraising, and related experience
Proven record of closing major gifts ($10K+) in the Midwest region
Energetic self-starter with a positive attitude
Detail oriented with strong time-management skills
Experience with donor databases and meticulous reporting
Experience initiating and coordinating special events
Enthusiasm for the mission of ELNET
Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
